Create evocative portraits that communicate more about your subject. Learn to understand different light sources and their qualities, and high and low key set ups. We encourage you to explore various lighting set ups to refine your portrait skills. Learn about lighting ratios, and various portraiture lighting techniques such as Rembrandt, butterfly, split, broad and short, and rim lighting. Work with models to refine these skills in a studio environment. This is a practical course with hands on demonstrations, and an emphasis on your working within a studio environment.
